GETTING YOUR BIKE TO YEPPOON & OTHER 'SPECIALS':
Last year we had some last minute drama in getting bikes to Yeppoon. The bad news is that the same airlines are still flying the same smaller planes to Rockhampton, that bad news also contains the information that this year no airline has free bike transport and there are 200 more bikes moving to Yeppoon in the week prior to the event.
The good news is that X-Tri has discovered Velotrans. A freight company for bikes run for triathletes, bu triathletes - who know how to handle and look after YOUR bike.
We highly reccommend talking to Velotrans for your bikes safe conduct to Yeppoon and you can talk to them and/or book directly for this and all future X-Tri races through www.velotrans.com.au
Can we also take this opportunity to introduce you to Velosure (no relation to Velotrans) for you bike insurance! We have negotiated some great rates with Velosure through their website from this link; or the link at www.capricornhalf.com.
If you need a hire car, call Avis and use the following code fore super rates! AWDP185012
